More work being done slowly.

As a one man show it gets a bit hard to sink more time into the project. With work letting up a bit I am digging in some more. The first thing I'm focusing on are file uploads to reconstruct the downloads section. I will also be finishing up Larce's guide fixes since I finally found all the images.

Shadowfox UI Compilation Launcher

I am in the process of releasing a UI launcher. This will allow you to choose which portions of the UI compilation you want without needing an entire download of 1+ gigs. Doing so will also allow me to release "separates" so that each individual thing will be available, but tested to work with each other. Stay tuned.

Added the preCU Biophilia's SWG PreCU Scrapbook v5.1

So I added the added the preCU Biophilia's SWG PreCU Scrapbook v5.1 to the site. This will mostly be used for direct internal linking. The end goal with this is to verify and consolidate the information within the search index for better integration. Eventually I will stop using it as it will be part of the search index directly.

The site's font weight and color and support

I've become aware of readability concerns on phones and tablets for the site. I will be rolling out a font color change sometime this coming weekend.   Downloads support will now be directly handled within the download auto post feature with a particular mod. The swgsanctum is a categorical search database index for the swgemu project by EQSanctum. With a direct address of https://www.swgsanctum.com you can access and search the categorical index. It is a work in progress and as the listing is updated you will see broken links. The triple length rotating slider....

Can't believe I got complaints about this but *shrug* it's 2020. So the banner up top you see, only shows up for guests. Once you become a member of the site, it goes away. The links are on the bottom of the page wrapper. Please guys, stop being picky. I get it, its covid, it's 2020, but I do this on my free time. Go gripe about something real, and do something about that real issue.

Larce's guide slowly being restored

Invision has pushed quite a few updates out recently. This is turn cause applications on the site to be updated as well. Because of this I have to verify each application install as well as any custom hand edits every time and update is done. Please bear with me, since this is taking up most of my time. Beginning the long task of using the new upload system

Starting today the conversions are starting. Everything will be in a rar with crc verification and when possible a virus total link for the file. I know of 2 files that show false positives on the site. ULI's Settings overrider 1.5 and 2.0. Both of these files are in their original formats and nothing has been added or changed. However, since updates to many anti-virus and malware programs it seems them as threats.

VG Link and other advertisement services

After some personal deliberation, I have decided to not put ads on the site. I have a serious problem with how privacy is just tossed around lightly on the internet like a piece of candy wrapper whenever any governing body sees fit to do so. If I included ads on the site I would be required "by law" to divulge to you that I may have to give up your information without want or warrant to affiliate companies because they said so. Permission and functions opening up!

Today I am focusing on setting up the proper permissions for the site. A good portion of the site will be going behind site membership, more than before. Due to increasing security issues around the net it is important to get better security in place to keep breaches from happening.  Starting today all members will now have the option to 2FA on their profiles. Only Legal Copies Of The Game

Do not ask me for support if you do not have a legal copy of the game.   As stated here: http://www.swgemu.com/forums/showthread.php?t=24 The SWGEmu project does not support in anyway a shared illegal copy of the game.     So to clear up what I'm saying.
