The SWGEmu project does not support in anyway a shared illegal copy of the game.

There are multiple legal ways to acquire a legitimate copy of SWG, should you need one. Amazon.com, Ebay, etc. are examples of online stores that sell SWG. You only need "An Empire Divided" (the original boxed game from '03), however, any non-trial version including "The Total Experience", "Starter Kit", "Access Station Kit" and "The Complete Online Adventures" will work on SWGEmu servers.

 

PLEASE BE ADVISED:

The use of a copy obtained through Warez or Torrent websites (P2P downloads) is illegal due to the software still being covered under copyright law

The use of the Sony SWG 14-day Trial client is considered illegal

Anyone found to be using an illegal client to attempt to log into any SWGEmu server will potentially lose part or all of their privileges on all SWGEmu Properties.

So to clear up what I'm saying. I do not offer support to illegally obtained clients. This site, as a resource for the emu project, will add you to it's ban list if asked to do so by the Emu project.
