Because of private server development interest, this quest has been added.

A self-sentient killing machine, HK-47 was far more than an ordinary combat droid. Created four thousand years ago, he came equipped with a devastating arsenal of high-powered weaponry, a ruthless and single-minded pursuit of his termination targets, and a pre-programmed disregard for all organic life. This Hunter-Killer model is one of the most dangerous assassins in the galaxy."

To find out more about HK-47 go here.

HK-47, the self-sentient killing machine is on the loose and who must stop him? you guessed it. This quest series is easily the biggest series in all of SWG, bigger then anything, ever which has made it onto our PC screens from the SWG universe, as if that wasn't enough to make you want to get out and do that quest, the cool loot will.

Start: Foreman Chivos, Mining Facility.

To begin this mammoth of a quest visit Foreman chivos at 334 -1125 at the Mensix mining facility, accept his mission to deliver supplies. Go to the waypoint provided, and re-supply the field supply locker -20 -3237. When you complete that, the Foreman will radio and tell you to clean out ventilation ducks, they are located at -7 -1587, -185 -1613, -277 -1647 and finally -502 -1600. Upon completed return to the Foreman to receive a mission to locate power rods that the Old Republic ship has crashed. You will find the power cores at 136 259, 146 104 and 137 659 to get the final power core you must kill the Salvage Bandit Chief located around 150 130 he is a LvL 80 Elite. Return to the foreman and you will complete the first part of the quest, he will then send you to speak to his colleague, Milo Mensix.

Reward: Miners Medallion (100 Agility, 30min, no recharge)

Start: Milo Mensix, Mining facility.

Milo Mensix 301 -1224 wants you to find a working terminal at the old republic crashed ship, accept his quest. Head to the crash site and go into the bridge, there you will find a working terminal 261 23 converse with it. Now you need to find a broken terminal 210 286 go there and search it to activate a quest to find 4 circuit boards, you must kill salvage bandits until you get 4. Return to the bridge and insert the circuit boards, the storyline will get a little more in-depth here, so watch and listen, if you wish. Once thats over, you will receive a waypoint to the next phase of the quest, and you are thus done at the crash site, for now.

Reward: None

Start: Kubaza beetle cavern.

Go to the Kubaza beetle cavern located at -724 507 enter the cave, you may need a group but for any level 90 character this will be solo able. The only beasts in here are Kubaza beetles, Drones, Workers and Soldiers, all of which should be dispatched easily. Once you enter the cave attack all the lairs, ignoring the droid which is moving around, the droid will set up markers which must stay up so that you can summon the foreman, anyway carry on attacking the lairs. Once the lairs are down, make sure you kill all the beetles, oh now might be a good time to tell you, there is a 20 minute timer. Eventually when the droid sets all the markers down it will summon the Foreman (he has about 50,000 health and does moderate attacks, stay away from him) use your gun and pound him until he dies, done.

Reward: Kubaza Bane badge

Start: Old republic facility

Head to the Old republic facility which is located at 2107 3099, i would recommend taking at least 2 people, as this can get tough in a hurry. The facility has three levels to it and you must move up and down those levels, if you can do this with efficiency you will be able to breeze through before the mobs spawn twice, like before, there is a timer, its an hour here, however. Something you should know, when trying to locate objects in here you can either use this map (Credit goes to Kindarin) or you can simply use the command /tar followed by the name of the object, for example, /tar terminal would target a terminal. Locate the power access terminal and activate it. Move to level 2 and retrieve the Access key card from the chest. Open the door with the keycard and enter room with the Journal Screen in it, use it. Move to the Security console and use that. Move down to level 3 and go into the room with the Ventilation System and use it. Move down the hall into the area with the power core and open it.

Move to the Air filtration system and use it. Now that the air filtration is working move into the room with the Spare Computer Parts, there is a boss in here level 87 and has 116, 000 health, he isn't that tough, but be on your guard, he just has a lot of health. Go back to the first level and kill the droid before you enter the room because you have another boss fight its much of the same, however he has 124, 000 health and he attacks slightly stronger, kill him and then go to the Main systems terminal and install spare parts. Move to the second level and find terminal Delta-5 converse with it to finish the quest and advance the storyline.

Reward: Old Republic seeker badge

Start: Decrepit Droid factory

After your fling at the Old Republic facility head on over to the Decrepit droid factory at -3410 997 for your next sequence. For this mission i recomend a group of atleast 4, its also wise to bring a Medic. To enter the mission simply go to the blast door and from the radial menu select 'Decrepit Droid Factory' and your in!. Again there is to ways to get around, using /tar or using a map (credit to Kindarin) as you enter move down the hall and hit the terminal at the first door to unlock it, move counter-clockwise around the room, destroying the droids as you go. Put one group member in each of the three rooms with a Code terminal in and a fourth member at the Access terminal. Now this part can be tricky, each terminal will give out two numbers, and the person on the Code terminal must input those numbers in order, for instance imagine the three Code terminals each gives out number sequences like this XXXX29, 57XXXX, XX12XX the person on the Access terminal would have to input the code 572912, there is a 10 second time limit to do so.

In the next room you have to fight a few more droids which you should dispatch easily, then you come to another puzzle, this time everyone has to hit the three terminals all at the same time, however on the two Sensor panels you have to bring up the radial menu, only press Obstruct however. Keep trotting on and you will come to a room with a lot of droids in, and a boss OR-5 he is'nt tough enough to speak of though so dont worry to much, Have 1 person go into the two back rooms and go to the Access terminal there have them hit the terminal in the second room there is a Enviromental control, they then must hit that and the door opens. Continue through and you will eventually come to a room with a Power Generator in, use it to spawn the Droid Facility Guardian, he is a boss super battle droid, but you will still be able to defeat him easily, after which you have completed it.

Reward: Droid factory stalker badge

Start: Old research facility

After you finish the droid factory you must go back to the Old republic facility, but you do not need to enter, only go near to activate the next sequence. Go back to the Mensix and report to Milo 301 -1224 after which you are ready for the next part. Go to the Mustafarian scout at 3430 -3130 a group of 2+ people should be able to do this one. Speak with the scout to enter the mission, this time you have 2 hours. When you arrive in the mission speak with the Foreman and tell him you are ready, move down the hill to the other camp and prepare for the assault of the droid army. The trick is to kill every single droid NPC and the Forward commander, however it gets a little more complicated, as always. Back to where we were at the camp at the bottom of the hill, pick up the demolition charges and set them wherever you choose, they do reasonable damage and will help in a pickle so the best place to put them is somewhere you can fall back to if needed.

Also, set the NPC's up near the droid spawn points, these will help you a little with the enemies. The main enemies coming at you are HK-88 droids they are no big deal, but occasionally Hammer, Reaper and Sentry droids will spawn which are low-health bosses, they can still pack a punch if they catch you off guard, however. The main trick is to stay on the right flank all the time and just kill off enemies there until you get a message that the Forward Commander has taken the field, at this point you should go back to the camp at the bottom of the field where the Forward Commander will be waiting for you, he also has Elite guards with him, so watch it. It shouldn't take you to long to complete it, so good luck. Once its complete go speak with the Foreman again to get out of the mission and prepare for your next!.

Reward: Hero of the battle of Koseyet badge

Start: Operational droid factory

When you arrive at the facility at 3410 -997 you must go to the systems terminal on the right side of the door before you enter, this will advance the storyline. Next you must go to the door controls on the left side and enter the code which you got from the records or if you're a smuggler you can just slice it, open up the radial menu over the door and select the Operational droid factory, when you're ready, go in. I'd recommend at least 3 people for this quest with at least 1 Medic, I stress the medic point because you just might die in this quest, it is still fairly difficult. As you enter follow the hallway down, enter the door and now your team must split into 2, you will each be facing an elite NPC that you must kill within 5 seconds of each other, so good communication is required here, when you split one group go right from the door and the other go straight forward, kill the NPCs you face at the same time as I have just mentioned.

Follow the same door you did when you originally did the droid factory and keep going until you come to the Devastator, now for this one person will have to be assigned the role of runner, they must pick up the inhibitor rods from the huge object which is in the same room as the devastator and take them to the systems terminal in a different room (use /tar sys to find it) this means Devastator will take damage, otherwise he just wont take any at all, the rest of the group can pound him while the runner does their job. Again moving a short distance on and you will come to a room with the Master droid engineer in, this can be a tough fight so be ready. First you need to have 2 people go into each of the side rooms while the remaining person attacks the droid engineer, failure to do this will mean you are swarmed by a lot of droids.

Have the people in the side rooms attack the droid control terminals and then dispatch the droids after that, tell them not to worry too much about dying (if you have medics) because you will be coming back through here, as soon as the Master droid engineer goes down, run, run back the way you came and keep running, dropping area attacks like medic cloud on the way, eventually find a standpoint and kill off all the droids which followed you, there is also a good chance Fixer One is there, ignore him untill you kill all the weaker droids, then decimate him. Keep on your track until you come to 2 adjoined square rooms this is the final battle on this mission, and it can occasionally be a tough one. First you must understand that you can not under any circumstances attack the radiation tubes in the middle of the room, or even use area attacks for fear of hitting them. When your ready, position your group along the outsides of the wall, each near one of the droids, have 1 person go up into the next room, this will activate the mission.

Everyone must attack the droid they are near when it comes active, otherwise it will target the radioactive, then I'm afraid its ashes to ashes, dust to dust. Anyway, keep on the droids and specifically target Doombringer when he comes online, this is the one state you will be able to damage the droids in. It shouldn't take too long if your careful, so just keep at it. Once you have completed that part, go into the next room and prepare for a fairly easy boss fight with Doombringer, all you have to do is pound on him and he will go down easy, and that's it you just completed the hardest quest series in SWG...not, we forgot about HK-47, didn't we?

Go back to the Mensix and speak with...Mensix, Milo Mensix he will direct you to speak with Master pilot Menddle at the entrance to the Mensix mining facility.

The group.

This quest can be soloed but it is extremely difficult and only the most seasoned veterans will be able to do it. its also a lot more fun to do it as a group a group of 4-6 people should be fun, while still remaining a challenge, here is my advised group.

Tank - Jedi (preferably Elder).

Healer x2 - Medic and a backup Medic.

Damage dealer x2 - a mix of Commando's or Bounty hunters.

The main job of the Jedi is to tank, they have the best all round armor and they also have a defensive buff and saber block, this will come in very very useful for this quest. The Medic role is to area heal and resurrect, however dropping medic cloud now and then is also very useful to the damage potential of the group. The Commando/Bounty hunters job is obvious, all damage if you get 2 Commando's the best way to maximise your damage output is to have one bring a lava cannon and one bring an acid cannon, putting out 2 different types of damage over time effects.

Equipment.

There is a lot of different views and assortments of the best equipment to bring here, but this is my advised setup

Energy layered armor.

Energy PSG.

You're profession mastery belt.

Shard of the serpent.

Defensive crystal

Stims.

Constitution clothing.

Constitution food.

Any spice you can get your hands on.

Again this is only my advised setup, i know people who like to bring other things such as the burst run stim incase they are in a tricky predicament, but i think all of this equipment should work well, you just have to use it at the right time.

The guide.

Before you get access to this quest you have to complete a long story arc centered around finding out about HK-47. It's an extremely fun story. Now we have got all that out the way, lets get onto the main guide. To start the mission you will need to talk to Menddle master pilot at waypoint 418 -3117 tell him you want to fly to the volcano and you will automatically teleport there.

First trial - HK Taskmaster and 8 support droids.

Equipment - none needed, just use your food and any profession buffs you have.

HK Taskmaster specials - Every 10 seconds a Taskmaster support droid will come alive, and every time they do so they will heal the Taskmaster for about 10k damage. Every time one of his support droids dies his attack and defensive power goes up about 30% of the previous state.

Strategy - Have the tank run in first and attack his support droids to keep them occupied while the rest of the group pounds the task master, there isn't much to it, he will die very quickly, after he is down assist the tank in dispatching any remaining support droids.

Second trial - AK-Prime and 4 support droids.

Equipment - none needed, just use your food and any profession buffs you have.

AK-Prime specials - AK-Prime has 2 main specials the first is a fire area DoT which effects everyone, it ticks for roughly 400 every 3 seconds. The second is the more powerful, it's a rocket aerial launch which does roughly 6k damage to everyone, however he launches this rarely.

Strategy - Pull back the 4 support droids and keep on them until they die, it shouldn't take long. After that switch to AK-Prime and keep on him, it is important that you stay within 5m of him at all times or he will launch his rocket special which can seriously put a hurting on the entire group.

Third trial - Forward Commander MK.2 and 15 Commanders.

Equipment - none needed, just use your food and any profession buffs you have.

Forward Commander MK.2 specials - The forward commander has no real special, he is basically a buffed up version of the Taskmaster. As you approach each row of droids will spawn from left to right one after the other, then the Forward Commander will spawn, and then the Commanders will spawn again as risen commanders!.

Strategy - Attack the Commander spawns one by one as they spawn, you should be able to kill them all. When the Forward Commander himself spawns go all out on him and ignore the risen commanders, once the Forward Commander is dead, run and pull back. Slowly kill the risen Commanders 1 by 1.

Fourth trial - CY-M Prototype.

Equipment - Shard of the serpent.

CY-M Prototype specials - CY-M has a few nasty specials, including a disease, a poison and the ability to call "denizens" from the volcano, the "denizens" he calls are actually Kubaza beetle soldiers.

Strategy - It's best to fight CY-M at the location you fought the Forward Commander, so the best thing to do is have one of the ranged professions attack him and lure him back, once he is roughly on the ground you fought the Forward Commander snare him so he cant chase the ranged and activate your shard of the serpent, the tank must then try to get his attention as he can do a lot of damage, and quickly Medics need to make sure they use their area heals to keep all the groups alive. once he is dead go and kill any beetles which are still lurking around.

Fifth trial - GK Oppressor.

Equipment - none needed, just use your food and any profession buffs you have.

GK Oppressor specials - GK Oppressor has a few specials and also an ability to avoid damage, his specials are a area snare, area poison and a single target root. He also has the ability to go into a state of defence (he does this when you get him to half health, once he does it you cannot attack him, however he cannot regain health either). He also spawns enemy droids to attack you called defenders and sentinels.

Strategy - To beat GK the whole group must first pour full damage onto GK, eventually he will retreat, when he does this pull back and kill the droids he spawned, once you have done this and its clear, go close to him and go all out again, once he is dead kill any remaining droids he spawned.

Final trial - HK-47 and his minions.

Equipment - Defence crystal and also your profession reward buff, any additional buffs you can use.

HK-47 specials - HK-47 has all the specials of the previous trials, and while some of them are weaker, some of them are the same. Each time he spawns a support droid he will heal (Taskmaster), he has a area DoT (AK-Prime), army of droids (Forward Commander), ability to call Kubaza beetles (CY-M) and a root (GK Oppressor)

Strategy - Definitely the toughest of all. To beat HK-47 first approach his area and he will spawn 2 armies of droids one to his left and one to his right, the droids are very weak so just dispatch one group first, then the second group Menddle's YT-2400 will now land. Now for HK-47, go in close to him and he will activate, have the tank aggro him and continuously attack him until he spawns an army of minions, once you see this happen immediately switch your focus to them and wipe them out, rinse and repeat this method until you are able to kill HK-47 and complete the HK-47 quest series!. After you win board the YT-2400 that landed and talk to the protocol droid inside the bridge, ask him to take you back to the mining facility and you will automatically respawn there! well done.

The YT-2400.

"The ship is manufactured by Corellian Engineering Corporation (located in the Corellia system), which is one of the largest and oldest starship manufacturers. The company primarily produces civilian vessels, although it occasionally builds specialized warships for markets not given attention by Kuat Drive Yards and similar corporations. Its ships (civilian or otherwise) range in size from a few meters to several kilometers, depending on the application. Nonetheless, CEC is best known for its moderately-armed, easily-modified freighters."

The ship has 4 main rooms and a corridor which goes all throughout the ship - the bridge, two rooms which are open plan and integrate into the corridor and also a small side room which you access via a door. It has 2 ordinance slots, and 2 weapon slots and has a mass of 500,000,000. Its a wonderful ship both in looks and style, however can be awkward to handle because of the bridge not being cantered. We'll end this guide with a few screenshots of the ship interior and in action.
