YOU WILL HAVE TO EXTRACT THE ui_styles.inc BY YOURSELF AND FIND THE PALETTES. DON'T USE THE ONE IN THIS TEXT, AS IT WILL MESS UP YOUR UI! IT IS COMPLETELY REDONE AFTER NGE. If you have any information on the new palettes, please mail them to [email protected] -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- First, to everyone who hoped to find some easy way without trial&error;, searching and testing. Below is what you will need to edit, starting with " HTML-Colorcodes, it will be hard to create a scheme you will like. To anyone else: It's worth the time. Okay, starting with some explanations. All colorcodes are simple HTML-Codes. You can find out what color they are exactly with most graphics editing software. You can get a good and easy one by downloading the evaluation version of Jasc Paint Shop Pro from www.jasc.com. Most of the recoloring is trial&error; work, so take yourself some time to load up SW:G sometimes to check how your new scheme looks. Everything I can tell you about what code affects what color ingame is added to the end of the corresponding line. How do I install my new scheme? First, you'll have to download the "ui_styles.inc" from the main page. Put it into "X:/StarWarsGalaxies/ui" and open it with your favorite text-editing software, for example the notepad. Search for "flight". You will be redirected right into the middle of the Palette entrys. Find 2 lines saying /> and put your Palette BETWEEN them. Save it, and start SW:G. Now you will be able to choose it from the UI-Colorscheme-Pulldown Menu. There will be some new schemes even before you create your own, so you are able to see whatthis little piece of text is able to do. Below is what I edited out of the "Rebel Flightsuits" Theme, and what I found out about the different codes. Most is self-explaining, so I only added some things that are not that clear. Most codes you will have to figure out yourself, though, as I myself don't really know what some of them change. Please delete the lines starting with "//" before you add them to your ui_styles.inc.
